Supply
Chain Visions was founded in April 2002 as a specialized consulting firm
focused on helping companies with supply chain strategy and education. Our
approach reflects solutions that are strategic as well as practical, cost
effective and focused on driving measurable performance improvements. Supply
Chain Visions has grown into a well respected organization bringing
thought leadership and visionary supply chain solutions to companies
ranging in size from $4 Million to $100+ billion as well as various
government agencies and the Department of Defense. Since the company’s
inception we have assisted over 50 companies across a broad spectrum of
industries and supported multiple state and federal government agencies.
Supply
Chain Visions is a certified woman-owned S-Corp, founded by Kate Vitasek.
In addition to other honors and recognitions by industry and trade
organizations, Supply Chain Visions was recently recognized as one of
“The Top 10 Coolest SCM Boutique Consulting Companies” by ARC
Research. Supply Chain Visions
maintains offices in The Team
Our
partners - all of whom are recognized Supply
Chain Visionaries, have published or appeared in over 75 articles and
books on supply chain management and are popular speakers at industry
conferences and universities. In
addition, Supply Chain Visions assists over a dozen universities as
adjunct and guest faculty - bringing practical and engaging lectures to a
broad range of Universities. The
Supply Chain Visions team is rounded out by four Principal Consultants and
three Research Associates. All
of our partners and associates bring a unique blend of consulting,
practitioner and general management experience to the firms we work with.
This blend of skills ensures that solutions are both practical and
cost effective. Our
Approach
The
Supply Chain Visions philosophy is to “teach a company to fish” rather
than bring in herds of consultants, costing thousands of dollars, which
generally wind up as “Vinyl Binder” studies that sit on a book shelf. For
that reason, we typically do not staff more than two people on an
engagement. We work to
“coach” client employees/teams through the projects they are tackling
by embedding our consultants as part of the client team, serving an
educational role as much as a consulting role.
This unique approach leaves the client team better able to enact
genuine and enduring change in the organization in support of strategic
objectives. Click here to learn more about the problems we solve and what we do.
