Steve Geary has worked with organizations around the world in a variety of industries and, through frequent speaking engagements and publications has become known as a leading expert on supply chain design and performance.

His recent articles have appeared in distinguished journals including The Harvard Business Review, Supply Chain Management Review, DC Velocity, the Defense Transportation Journal, and the International Journal of Production Economics. Steve is a Contributing Editor at DC Velocity Magazine, and editor-at-large for the Supply Chain Quarterly, and is a faculty member and research associate of the University of Tennessee’s College of Business Administration on the topic of Performance Based Logistics.

Since 2002, has been engaged in a broad range of projects across Aerospace and Defense.   He has done extensive research in Performance Based Logistics, and through 2006 and 2007 has spent the majority of his time on the ground in Iraq seeking to revitalize Iraqi Industry, bringing stability through employment.  Mr. Geary also works extensively with OSD’s Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics function, in Aerospace and Defense commercial enterprises, and with the individual military services.

During his career, Steve has held executive positions in manufacturing, materials management, business development, product marketing, and product management. His prior employment experience includes includes Teradyne, Inc., PRTM, Emerson Electric Co., and IBM. He has worked in the United States , Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Middle East .

Mr. Geary holds a BS and a Master's in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Cornell University and an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University .  He is a Certified Production and Inventory Control Manager and is listed in Who’s Who in America , Who’s Who in the World, Who’s who in Science and Engineering, and Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals.
